We Started Anthill Because Nonprofits Deserved Better IT.
Too many mission-driven organizations were stuck with either big, impersonal IT firms that didn't understand their work — or no real IT support at all. We set out to change that.
Built for the DMV's Nonprofit Community
Founded in Silver Spring, Maryland, Anthill Consulting was built for the DMV's nonprofit and mission-driven community. We've spent over 15 years working alongside associations, advocacy organizations, social service agencies, and small businesses — learning what they actually need from a technology partner.
What we've found: it's not just about fixing computers. It's about understanding the pressure of a grant deadline. The reality of a lean staff. The stakes of protecting donor and client data. The frustration of technology that was supposed to help but keeps getting in the way.
So we built a team that gets it. People who listen first, explain clearly, and show up — reliably, every time. We're headquartered at 10770 Columbia Pike in Silver Spring, and we're your neighbors. We take that seriously.
What We Believe
We treat your mission like it's our mission.
When your technology runs smoothly, your programs run smoothly. We never lose sight of what's at stake for the people you serve.
We communicate like humans.
No jargon. No runaround. We tell you what's happening, what it means, and what we're doing about it — in plain English.
We show up.
Fast response times aren't a marketing claim for us — they're a standard we hold ourselves to every day. When you call, we answer.
We grow with you.
We're not just here for the crisis. We're here for the long term — advising, planning, and evolving alongside your organization.
Why the DMV?
DC, Maryland, and Virginia have a unique ecosystem — a dense concentration of nonprofits, associations, government contractors, and mission-driven organizations, all operating in a high-stakes environment where security, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable. We know this region. We know its compliance landscape, its hybrid-work culture, and its community. That local knowledge makes us a better partner.
Let's Get to Know Each Other.
The best partnerships start with a conversation. Reach out and tell us a little about your organization — we'd love to learn more.
